Freebites
Freebites is an app connecting college students with free food opportunities on campus (leftovers from events, club meetings, and more!). Within the marketing team, I am specifically responsible for all social media/print graphics and assisting with pitch deck formation, research, and all things funding/revenue. Generally, my team and I also handle growth strategy, coming up with and executing promotional events and materials, and community outreach.

Drawing from the logo and mission of Freebites, design trends on campus, and my own personal flair, I created a digital mascot for Freebites.
Meet Lil Bite!
He’s an average college student, running from event to event, concerned about the job search, and always on the hunt for free food (like me 🤤). Thankfully, since finding Freebites, he’s had a way easier time with that last one!
Now, he makes sure to let all his friends know about Freebites as well.

As a two-sided marketplace app that caters to both food-seekers and food-posters, the Marketing team wants to create promotions targeted specifically at people and groups who would be posting the leftover food (event organizers, conference organizers, club leadership, greek life leadership…)
